I SEE GREATNESS

Tina Turner had a popular hit song in the 1970s, “ What’s Love Got To Do With It?”

I found myself asking the question, What is LOVE?….God is Love 1st John 4:8

1st Corinthians 13:4-13…Charity (Love) suffereth long (patient) and is kind; …Faith, Hope, Charity (Love), these three, but the greatest of these is charity (LOVE)

Saved by Grace through faith;…Ephesians 2:8

Although, we often attach the word love to people, things, and places, without realizing Love is a gift to be given and received. Therefore, on this life journey, we may lose focus on what is best for ourselves. But, it is a Joy to know who you are; who’s you are, and what is your life purpose. In 1980, I began to understand that God created and loved me as an individual. Jesus the son of God, while I was yet a sinner died for me, and now I believe, in Jesus.

On Thursday, April 27, 1995, my world shattered—both literally and figuratively. A fractured skull. A pregnancy I had prayed for over 15 years to no avail—now miraculously, I was 10 weeks along. The joy I had longed for was finally within reach, yet it arrived in the midst of unimaginable pain. Violence threatened to consume me, but the blood of Jesus covered me. It was then that Philippians 4:13 became more than words—it became my lifeline: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This is my story of survival, faith, and a divine promise fulfilled.

The Love of God kept me in perfect Peace and, allowed me to walk in victory. However, my initial question was, What’s Love Got To Do With It? In my opinion, Love is Life. To know God is to know Love and Life Abundantly. For 25 years, God provided, guided, and sustained me as I built and operated Silver Q’s Child Care and Educational Services.

Always remember—walking in victory is your birthright.  No matter the obstacles, no matter the odds, the power to rise above is already within you. You just have to BELIEVE!
